Jenn Brady & Dylon Walbridge formed their first version of Behrcat in 2014. The band has evolved over the years from jazz and cover music to fun and dynamic arrangements of pop songs, writing and performing original music and finding their unique sound.

Behrcat is a dynamic jazz rock band who seamlessly blends the intricate harmonies of jazz with the raw energy of rock. Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of musical influences including Brad Mehldau, Hiatus Kaiyote, Pompalamoose, Carole King, Lake Street Dive, Fleetwood Mac, and more. Behrcat creates a unique and captivating sound that enchants the audience.

Formed by a group of exceptionally talented musicians, Behrcat boasts an impressive list of accomplishments. Each member holds music degrees from various universities, demonstrating their commitment to honing their craft and their dedication to musical excellence. Doc, the band's drummer, has toured with Melia and has also recorded with Fiddler’s Wage, showcasing his versatility and skill. He is currently in three other bands; Jamal Youngblood, Soul of the City and Amanda Stone. Dylon, the band's keyboardist and composer, is an esteemed adjunct professor at FLCC, where he imparts his knowledge and expertise in jazz and classical piano to aspiring musicians. Dylon is currently in three other bands; Escape Terrain, WILDYR, and Danger Trio Furthermore, Jenn, the band's vocalist and songwriter, has achieved success in numerous competitions, having won first place in esteemed events such as the USA World Showcase and the Italian Idol Competition. Finally, Ryan, the band's bassist, guitarist and audio engineer, is currently in the final stages of completing his Doctorate in Music Theory, highlighting his deep understanding of music and his commitment to continuous growth as a musician.

While Behrcat has achieved notable success individually, their current focus is on a collective project - writing a fully original album. With their diverse influences and immense talent, Behrcat is poised to create a groundbreaking album that will captivate listeners and defy genre boundaries. Their unique style, blending elements of jazz and rock, with their exceptional musicianship, promises to deliver a refreshing and captivating musical experience.
